A couple days ago I was lucky enough to have some of my work featured on the popular wedding blog Green Wedding Shoes. I had been involved in an inspiration shoot called Disco berry a couple months prior and we were eager to get it published during Valentines week. Et Voila! It was!! I am happy to say that I have added another notch into B&Ps belt and will continue to do so from here on out. The shoot ended up looking fantastic and I have a ton of other wonderful wedding vendors to thank. Below is a video by Bright Sky Wedding designs of our shiny and berry delicious (lame) shoot.
The shoot itself was inspired by disco balls, meets fresh luscious red berries, meets vintage 1970's styles. For the paper products I focused on the reds and lavenders from our colour pallet. I tried to give everything the look of being soaked in berry juice and then coated in diamonds.
I decided to create a theme of works using one of my product packages, the middle man, which generally includes invites, RSVPs, and 3 add-ons. My clients usually pick table numbers, place cards and menus for the add-ons, but this time instead of menus I wanted to do some funky treat toppings- idea courtesy of LovebyLynzie. They turned out as cute little waved flags that read "Love is a Disco" and were dipped in silver glitter at the ends.
The table numbers were simple, they were white numbers on the red berry juice backgrounds with a gradient of silver glitter from the bottom up. The place cards however were big raspberry illustrations hanging from lavender ribbon on the back of each chair. The same cut out raspberry was also used on a smaller scale for the RSVPs.
The other elements for the shoot turned out absolutely gorgeous, what a talented team I worked with! You can check out more of the shoot here +. You can see more pictures of my contribution in the wedding section of my work page. Or check out the various vendors who were involved below.
Have a great day ;)
